Uranus Proxima

Uranus Proxima is Update 43's new Empyrean region, unlocked exclusively by completing Jade Shadows: Constellations. It hosts two narrative Railjack missions—Scoria's Angel and The Kuva Wytch—and the Pontis Tower hub where Vena, Ryoku, and Hunhow await. Unlike earlier Proxima grinds, Digital Extremes designed this region for accessibility: you do not need a personal Railjack or maxed Intrinsics to begin farming tokens and blueprints.

Unlocking Uranus Proxima

Prerequisites chain: complete New War, complete Jade Shadows, then finish Jade Shadows: Constellations (roughly thirty to forty minutes, quest-locks other content). Upon completion, your inbox delivers Warframe rewards and the Star Chart adds Uranus Proxima nodes. Pontis Tower appears simultaneously as a hub tile on Uranus. No additional junction or mastery gate exists beyond quest completion.

Both missions blend Skirmish space combat with Assassinate boarding phases. Each begins aboard an ally Railjack—The Marrowbone for Vena, Santovan's Oath for Ryoku—before breaching the enemy capital ship and fighting a final arena boss. How to Access Missions

1. Navigation console: Open Railjack map, select Uranus Proxima, choose either node (Normal or Steel Path).
2. Pontis Tower: Fast travel to Vena or Ryoku, interact with boarding console, select Begin Mission at Navigation.
3. Quick access wheel / pause menu: Fast travel shortcuts once Pontis Tower is unlocked.

Steel Path Railjack

Update 43 introduces Steel Path for Railjack broadly. Requirements: unlock Steel Path on Star Chart and complete at least one Railjack node on Normal. Uranus missions then offer a difficulty toggle before launch. Steel Path adds plus fifty enemy levels, more fighters and crewships, and Eximus enemies that drop Steel Essence (Acolytes do not spawn in Railjack). Token payouts increase to eighteen–twenty-two per mission. Mod drop chance bonus from Steel Path does not apply to Railjack.

Rewards Overview

Guaranteed per completion: faction tokens, one random blueprint, one random Arcane. Bonus drops during space combat minigames. See Tokens and Exchange for economy details. Hidden Signa rewards require capital ship exploration documented on Secret Signa Rooms.

Using Your Own Railjack

Solo players who want personal Intrinsics and Plexus mods must: set matchmaking to Solo, enter Pontis Tower first, then board personal Railjack from the console. Starting Solo directly from Star Chart defaults to Vena/Ryoku ships. Squad players can assign crew roles via Tactical Menu; empty slots fill with ally NPC crew.
